Sometimes to know where you are, you’ve got to look where you’ve been. And where you’ve been, in snowboard terms anyway, will undoubtedly involve one man – Craig Kelly.
For the grassroots story of riding, check out Let it Ride – a movie dedicated to Kelly’s story and the early days of snowboarding. Kelly was tragically killed in an avalanche back in January 2003 at Revelstoke which also claimed the lives of six others – yet his legacy and influence still remain strong today.
